Editing pictures taken in Perth made me miss Aussieland.
Especially in Fremantle.
I get this sense of peacefulness while walking across the Fremantle Arts Centre.
Oh..I don't know..it's probably because of lack of traffic in a developed place.
You can walk on the street without worrying about snatch theft, which I have encountered twice in M'sia.
The laid back Aussie life, friendly locals, punctual (but kinda expensive) public transportation.. it draws me somehow.
I had a good rest today since coming back.
I mean, I've been working and meeting up with friends almost everyday since I got back. Not that its a bad thing, but my body needs rest.
As much as I have recuperated physically, psychologically, anxiety is with me all the time.
The anxiety of unfinished work haunts me.
When will I be able to embrace that peace again?

I ish backs!
Got off the plane this morning at 6.30am.
Had my char kuey teow, yee mee and maggi mee.
Just haven't had nasi lemak and curry mee yet.
Oh, and bubble tea.
Paid off some credit card bills, but still owe my parents about 2k.
Gotta work work work!
Spent crazy amount of money on shopping in Melbourne.
After all the efforts on trying to save every penny I could from Cairns to Melbourne..all self restraint went out the window the moment I stepped into the Direct Factory Outlet.
How much have I spent for the entire trip? I'm not ready to calculate yet.
Started spring cleaning my room again this afternoon.
After spending a month away from it, I now appreciate my room even more.
Only 20% done so far..which is the wardrobe.
Sorting, washing, hanging, folding..etc etc..
Next: the heap of personal care products..then stationery..then bags..
It always takes me a couple of weeks (at least) to get the room suitable for public viewing..only because I'm a perfectionist.
Still contemplating whether to get an extra clothes rack or not.\
Went for a much needed body polish/scrub at the spa.
Feel much 'cleaner' now.
Had a quick catchup with friends..felt sleepy at 10ish..jet lagging (it is 3 hours ahead in Melb)
Just applied a peel off mask. The amount of black and white heads..OMG..
In need of a mani and pedi.
Hungry now. Let's see if there is any instant noodles downstairs.
Already starting to plan for a working holiday visa.

His perfect plan, His perfect timing
Often, I have taken things for granted.
Especially when I'm being pessimistic.
Focusing on the negative instead of the beautiful things God has prepared for me.
It is amazing how perfect His timing can be.
Bringing me out of Rockhampton before the bush fire, going into Brisbane when I was ready, arranging this trip to get out of a mess, having people to enter and leave my life at the right time.
Indeed, my God is an awesome God.
There is no way I can be in my current state of mind if not for divine intervention.
You may not believe in Christ, but you can't deny there is a higher authority.
And I, I believe in Him, because He first believed in me.
"I know my future's in Your hands,
All of my hopes and dreams and plans.
You gave me strength to live and faith to succeed,
I believe in You, because You believed in me."

That's how long it took to get to Sydney from Surfers Paradise.
Sat on the bus for so long that my lower back hurt.
The bone at the lower end of my spine makes slouching very uncomfortable..to the point that it hurts.
Thank God for a nice queen size bed in a room all for myself tonight.
Thank God for the Pearsons and their hospitality.
Yep, I'm staying with Bro Darren and Sis Pauline while in Sydney.
They brought me to an Italian restaurant earlier this evening, and we will be going to somewhere called Hunter Valley(I think) tomorrow for wine, cheese and chocolates.
Well, it was either the valley or the Blue Mountain.
Uh, I've already been to Mount Tasmania so I chose the valley. (There's more to see)
About one more week till I come back.
Dammit, I wish I could stay longer.

Here I am.
Having an AUD 4.25 McValue meal.
An Australian Beef cheeseburger, small fries and small (tasteless) sprite.
It's 5.40pm and I'm waiting for the 7.35pm bus arriving Brisbane 6am tomorrow.
Another night on the bus.
It's uncomfortable, but a great way to save money. Hostels are at average 20AUD to 25AUD.
Cheapest I stayed was 16AUD(including dinner) at Cairns but it's a loooooong walk from everything else.
Tell you a secret: I haven't showered in two days.
Aren't you glad you're not here with me?
hahahahaha...
Spent most of my day at the Rockhampton library because this town is really like a retirement village, nothing much to see.
But I must say, all the old people here are really friendly. They talk to you as though they have all day.
Like, this old gentleman who came up to talk to me this morning while I was waiting for the hostel to open.
And a nice lady who stopped to talk when I asked her for directions.
Then there was another old gentleman in a cowboy hat who literally walked me to the library.
I would come here if I want a very quiet holiday.
Was just telling my mom how much I appreciate having a car. Kinda tired of walking around already.
Anyway, Brisbane.
Looking forward to it.
Many parks and markets and galleries to visit.
What's good about visiting cities is that public transportation is not a problem.
And prices (for food and accommodation) are just about the same as suburbs, if not cheaper.
Hope I get two seats for myself tonight.
By the way, am talking with a friend about coming back to Australia on working holiday.
Hmm...
